If you’re the sort of person who loves nothing better than to stock up on stationery, this is the event for you. Whether you’re a brand new student heading to uni for the first time or simply need to indulge your penchant for craft supplies and cool pens and pencils before you rock up for your second or third year, the London Graphic Centre’s upcoming student day is a must.
A one-stop-shop for art, graphic and stationery supplies, the Convent Garden flagship store will be filled with freebies, freshers and creative workshops for one day only on Tuesday 4th October. Drop in from 10am and be inspired by live illustration demos by professional artists such as Carne Griffiths and CULT+MILK art collective, build your own accessories with the likes of Frietag and bag screen-printed tees created on-site by our friends at People of Print.
In addition to all that, Sugru’s repair station will also be offering quick cable fixes for your all-important tech with their super-mouldable glue and there’ll be amazing goodie bags packed with stationery, washi tape, illustration tools and more to be scooped up. We’ve seen the contents of the bags first hand and not only are they brimming with wonderful bits and pieces, but there are pricy bonus prizes hidden in a small selection, too – all the more reason to get your hands on one.
So, get yourself ready for the term ahead and get down to the London Graphic Centre to talk all things creative with the pros and shop for all your artistic and designer/maker needs. Meet members of the capital’s thriving art and design community, get to know a tonne of people studying and working on unique projects, and bag 20% off the store’s covetable products until 7pm. Stick this one in your diary because if you’re a student based in London, it’s not to missed.
