The time is upon us, it’s officially time to get festive and all celebrations are totally legitimate. Here’s our round-up of the very best things to do in London this month if you’re creative, cool and fed up with the usual Christmas countdown nonsense. Oh, and if you’ve not yet decided where to go for your annual knees-up or managed to buy gifts for the lovely people in your life, we’ve got you covered. Let the joyful month of December commence.

LITTLE FEAST at Shepherd’s Bush Yard, Shepherd’s Bush

When? Thursday November 5th – Wednesday December 23rd

How much? Free

Little Feast is back and brings with it a magical Scandinavian forest, complete with fir trees, manzanita trees, holly covered pergolas and woods brought in especially from Norway. Cosy up in a heated yard offering mulled ciders & wines, smokey broths and a truly festive feeling. Register for a ticket here and get a free drink to warm your cockles while you’re at it.

THE CHRISTMAS PRINT FAYRE 2015 at KK Outlet, Hoxton Square

When? Tuesday 1st – Wednesday 23rd December at 11am – 6pm

‘The Christmas bullshit truck rolls into town and every year high street stores spread their usual schmaltzy muck. Their big budget adverts tell us, “Buy these gifts otherwise your nearest and dearest won’t feel loved and you’ll ruin Christmas for everyone.” Well we say “No more!”’ No need for an intro from us, they’ve said it all. KK Outlet and People of Print are touting prints by the best designers, illustrators and graphic artists around. THE LONDON ILLUSTRATION FAIR at Bargehouse, OXO Tower Warf, Southbank

When? Friday 4th December – Sunday 6th December at 11am – 8pm

How much? £5

Taking place in an impressive four-storey warehouse, The London Illustration Fair returns with more than 70 of the UK’s freshest illustrators, designers, print makers and publishers for a three-day illustration extravaganza. Expect a handpicked selection of the Fair’s favourite publishing houses, creative agencies, illustration collectives, print studios, galleries, crafty businesses and designers. ZINEMAS at The Future Laboratory, Shoreditch

Our pals at Sister Magazine are holding their very first zine fair to celebrate a year of publishing and creativity. Explore an amazing lady-led exhibition of female artists’ work and enjoy a unique panel discussion with the mag’s excellent founder Beccy Hill. Of course there’ll also be a wicked zine fair with treats from the likes of Polyester Zine, OOMK, Typical Girls and more. Click attending here.

CRAFTY FOX MARKET at The Dogstar, Brixton

 It’s big, it’s back and it’s er, bushy? Yes guys, it’s the one and only Crafty Fox Market. Discover and meet tonnes of artists and designer/makers from across the UK and London, enjoy the best of handmade and artisan gifts and shop until you drop. Of course, there’ll also be music, tea and cake and loads of our friends and favourites, such as Writing Maps, East Wick, KINSKA, Evermore and Kate Rowland there. Click attending here.

PATTERNITY POP-UP SHOP at Londonnewcastle Project Space, Shoreditch

The talented team at PATTERNITY are opening their creative studio for a two-day festive pop-up. Explore the world of pattern and browse a selection of great collaborations and limited edition pieces by Clarks Originals, Richard Brendon and Imperial War Museum London. You’ll also be able to take a look at and pick up your own copy of PATTERNITY: A New Way of Seeing, a book we hold in high esteem. Click attending here.

PRINT CLUB LONDON’S XMAS SHOW at Print Club London, Dalston

When? Saturday 5th December – January 2016 at 11am – 4pm

With over 15 artists featured in this month’s very special gallery show, there’ll be something for everyone from the famed purveyors of print. All artwork will be available to purchase off the wall and all framed artwork will be on sale with an exclusive buyers discount throughout the duration of the show. The Garage Sale is a new pop-up event where designers and makers will be touting stock from past seasons, prototypes, work in progress and samples. Featuring more than 50 designers, this shopping event is perfect for design lovers on a budget, searching for unique Christmas presents and anyone looking to splurge on something exceptional. Prices will range from our £1 items all the way up to £100 so there’s no way you’ll want to miss this. Click attending here.

Christmas is fast approaching and we have another fantastic Christmas Market lined up for you! Hate Christmas Shopping? Well what if you could do it all under one roof and ease the pain with a delicious mulled wine to sip while you shop? We’ll have a selection of vintage items, christmas gifts, clothing and much, much more for you to peruse. Hackney Flea Market returns with another awesome selection of hand-picked stall holders, all selling an amazing mix of salvaged, one-of-a–kind, lost and found objects, and handmade items. Find vintage clothes, furniture, records, handcrafted goodies and more. CHRISTMAS SCREEN PRINTING at The Doodle Bar, Battersea

When? Monday 14th December 7.30pm – 9.30pm

How much? £20

Join professional screen printer Nicole for a festive beginners workshop where you’ll learn the basics and create something snazzy in time for the big day. All materials are included but see what you have at home; an up-cycled napkin or T-shirt is always a good shout when it comes to gifting. Two of our favourites, the wonderful Oh Comely magazine and botanical creative geo-fleur have teamed up to help you make a beautiful modern wreath from precious greenery and copper. CRAFTY FOX NIGHT MARKET at Geffrye Museum, Hoxton

The wonderful Geffrye Museum is all set to host the marvellous Crafty Fox by night. Trust us, this one’s going to be very festive. It’s the perfect opportunity to pick up those last minute gifts, while supporting local makers. There’s always a warm festive feel at the Geffrye Museum during the Christmas season, but for this one night only the Crafty Fox will be bringing its own flavour too. Along with the buzz of the traders, there’ll be live DJs, festive drinks and maker-led workshops throughout the evening. Everyone’s welcome, even the kids.

CHRISTMAS CRAFTING at Drink Shop Do, Kings Cross
