Hoxton Mini Press have been popping up all over the shop of late and no wonder. With a focus on the unique climate of east London and a generous flair for putting together the most outstanding imagery with winsome words, the independent publisher creates books worth cherishing forever. Their latest creation is unsurprisingly something very special. From the folks that brought you the illustrious Haircuts of Hackney comes MAKERS OF EAST LONDON. A triumph in the making, this beautiful book documents all things lovingly handmade. Exploring the craft and skill of a group of talented creatives, the publication celebrates the processes and passions of makers from London’s buzzing hub.

Focusing on 26 practices through a series of photographs, interviews and stories, MAKERS OF EAST LONDON is set to be a cloth-bound journey into the heart of what it means to create. Hoxton Mini Press have admirably featured letterpress, pompoms, violins, sculptures, handbells and more in their inspiring compendium, however, in order to share their book with you, they’ll need a helping hand.

With a mere 10 days until their Kickstarter deadline, the realisation of this lovely book is near. A little pledge from you guys will help to make this happen smoothly. There are some covetable rewards up for grabs as well as copies of the coffee-table publication itself, so hop over to the Kickstarter page and watch the video. We’ve got a thing for exceptional books that tell a creative story and MAKERS OF EAST LONDON is top of our list. Thanks for saving indie publishing, Hoxton Mini Press. We can’t wait to see this one on our shelves.
