The Tropical Creations of Illustrator and Printmaker Linnéa Teljas-Puranen

Linnéa Teljas-Puranen is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Stockholm, Sweden. Her work is a remarkable blend of print-making, illustration, unique branding, web design and more. With a great eye for detail, Linnéa’s use of layered patterns and clashing colour yields striking results.

Her work is an ever-changing bank of styles and experimental pieces yet each print, simple layered painting or wilderness-inspired illustration looks fresh, visually satisfying and original.

Linnéa is not only an image-maker, she’s also one of the founders of She-Form, a worldwide network that focuses on celebrating and supporting talented female designers. Ee-Rang Park and Linnéa Teljas-Puranen launched She-Form in 2013, providing a platform for women in design through original interviews and collaborative projects. Linnéa is also part of BBY Magazine, a creative publication run by a team of rad women dedicated to empowering the sisterhood.

Having also worked with the likes of Lazy Oaf, Ohh Deer and many more of our favourites and friends, Linnéa is one creative who clearly knows her stuff. A nifty work-shop host and open-minded collaborator, her commercial work is just as sweet as her personal projects.

A particular favourite of ours is a poster created in support of the work of Gothenburg Women’s Aid (pictured). A jumble of big cats, tall trees, palm fronds, geometric patterns and colour-blocked characters, Linnéa’s colourful works bring us endless joy.
