On 4th April 2015 the free all-day festival dedicated to human kindness and spreading altruism that the amazing This Must Be For You and YGT had been working together to stage this spring officially kicked off. We opened the doors of Dalston institution the Shacklewell Arms and invited everyone in to enjoy a line-up of live music from the likes of Balloon Ascents, Post Louis, Bewilderbeast, Being There, Tusks, and Hundreds, and to get stuck into a bustling art market, and free gifting raffle packed with amazing items from creatives and independent businesses.
As well as easter egg and goodie bag hunts, the likes of which proffered treats from the brilliant No Guts No Glory, Shedquarters, Good & Proper Tea and countless artists and designer/makers, there was play doh crafting, gorging on awesome pub grub, hidden TMBFY boxes, scoping out our friends Brothers We Stand at their pop-up stall spot, print and pint purchasing respectively, manic temporary tattoo applications, and a hell of a lot of dancing to be done.
Huge thanks to everyone that came along to celebrate with us throughout the day and late into the evening, to Slack & White Photography, to our awesome team of creatives, musicians, team of diligent helpers and friends, and foremost to anonymous gift-giving project This Must Be For You. If you missed out on attending our jam-packed all dayer, this film created by talented media maestro and founder of Blimpy Media Tom Hill will clue you in on what went down in signature style.
