BRAND TO KNOW: THE WHITEPEPPER

the_whitepepper

There’s something about casual up-cycled style that really grabs our attention. Whether it’s a cute peter-pan collar and cardigan combo or a double-denim extravaganza, no-frills vintage meets street-chic is a winner in our book. THE WHITEPEPPER, an online boutique based in East London, handles this vibe perfectly. Its collections are a fresh mix of in-house design featuring hand-made limited edition items, individual vintage pieces and indie-designer originals, with every item designed or hand-picked and styled by the brand’s own fashion stylist and designer. The line launched in 2011 as an ASOS Marketplace boutique and has since grown into an exclusive online store, producing chic street-style for men and women.

THE WHITEPEPPER boasts highly unique collections, so consequently, limited items hit the site on a regular basis, in addition to daily styling changes. The latest collection is a gorgeous mix of casual long-line skirts and dresses, cropped denim pieces and cosy knits. Expect vintage tailoring versus ultra-modern palettes, hella platforms and great texture clashes.

A fashion fairy’s dream it’s no wonder TWP’s garments have been featured by bloggers and mags from here to Montreal. We love their statement coats, frippery-free denim and stand-out polka-dot numbers. With a new collection about to drop already and some enviable styling in this season’s lookbook inspiring our sartorial streetwear choices, it’s only a matter of time before we’ve got every season covered by THE WHITEPEPPER.
